World-Famous Funk BandLMT Connection to Rock East, Beijing

East, Beijing is delighted to welcome back the world-famous funk band from Canada, LMT Connection on May 6.
From 12.30-2.30pm on May 6, the band will perform exclusively for the students of the Beijing Guang Ai School. The school is an orphanage founded in 2004 by Shi Qinghua. Airbus is kindly providing the transportation for the children to and from the venue.
In the evening, LMT will play a show at Xian for the general public from 10pm, delivering a truly “funktastic” night. Guests can enjoy signature cocktails, wines, and snacks at Xian. Our in-house band, Unity, will kick off the night with music at 9pm.
LMT Connection are true masters of their craft. During the 28 years that they have been together, the band has recorded six albums and playedover 6,000 live shows, including 12 tours in Europe and four tours in China. When at home in Canada, they have remarkably held a 19-year residency at the legendary Orbit Room in Toronto, performing every Wednesday night. The band has also shared the stage with BB King.
“I believe this is going to be an amazing night for all music lovers,” says East, Beijing’s General Manager Simon McHendry.
